Arsène Cretin l'Ange, a Morbier (Jura), made for Maison Vérité, a Beauvais (Oise), No. 2032, in 1899. Fine and rare cast iron, steel, and brass quarter-striking tower clock.
C. Free-standing on four cast iron feet. D. White enamel, Roman numerals, outer minute track. Steel Breguet hands. M. 130 x 48 cm. cast iron rectangular frame, five brackets for the train secured by screws to the frame, hour striking train to the left, quarter striking to the right, bronze bushings, pin-wheel escapement, cast iron pendulum bob with wooden rod and spring suspension, rack striking on three bells. Signed on the dial, owners plaque fastened to the frame. Dim. 130 x 63 (feed spread) cm.
