C. Beach with glazed top, gimbaled brass bowl with screw-down glazed bezel, gimbal ring locked by swiveling arm mounted in the front right corner. D. Silvered, Arabic hour numerals, subsidiary seconds at 6, up-and-down indicator at 12. Gold spade hands. M. 84 mm, brass full plate, turned pillars secured by screws, oeil de perdrix decoration, fusee and chain, Harrisons maintaining power, Earnshaw springdetent escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance with four circular mean time weights and two temperature nuts, free-sprung helical balance spring with outer terminal curves. Dial, case and movement signed and numbered. Dim: height, width and depth: 18 cm.
