Movado, Tempus Fugit (Time Flies), Swiss. Made circa 1960. Fine and unusual 8-day going brass and Lucite ball clock. Accompanied by its original fitted box. To be sold without reserve
C. Lucite globe halved to allow for the rotating of the two sections for hour and minute indications mounted on a brass post. D. Black painted Roman numerals for the hours and black painted Arabic numerals for the minutes. Single black hand for time read-out. M. Rhodium-plated, 15 jewels, straight line lever escapement, monometallic balance. Dial, case and movement signed. Case and movement numbered. Height 16.5 cms.
