Jules Jürgensen keyless chronometer Jules Jürgensen, Copenhagen, No. 11243. Made circa 1880. Very fine, hunting-cased, keyless, 18K yellow gold pocket chronometer with pivoted detent escapement and Jürgensen's winding and hand-setting mechanism, patented on Jan. 15th, 1867.

Cal. 19???, maillechort, 20 jewels, Earnshaw-type chronometer escapement with pivoted detent, gold escape wheel, the detent pivot and escape wheel pivot with gold caps, cut bimetallic compensation balance with gold timing screws, blued steel Breguet balance spring, steel post to prevent excessive amplitudes, index regulator, wolf?s tooth winding wheels. Dial, case and movement signed. Diam. 50 mm. Thickness 15 mm.
