MINERVA, OVERSIZE SPLIT-SECOND CHRONOGRAPH Minerva, Swiss, movement No.2376, case No. 17000. Made in the 1930's. Impressive and very rare, oversize, stainless steel wristwatch with coaxial single button chronograph and split seconds.
C. Three body, polished and brushed, lapidated shoulders, inclined bezel, solid wire lugs, coaxial chronograph button with rectangular split-second button to the band. D. Matte silver with painted black Breguet numerals, outer minute and 1/5th second divisions with 5 minute numerals, subsidiary dials for seconds and 30 minute register. Blued steel Breguet hands. M. Valjoux Cal. 55, 17.67??, rhodium-plated, 17 jewels, lever escapement, monometallic balance, self-compensating Breguet balance spring, index regulator. Dial signed, case and movement numbered.
