Minute Repeating Miniature Carriage Clock Swiss, No. 257132. Made circa 1910. Fine and rare, miniature, minute-repeating, gilt brass "pendulette de voyage a repetition minutes", 8-day going carriage clock.
C. Gilt brass, ?anglaise riche?, dentilled cornices, fluted Corinthian pillars, brass panels on three sides, winding concealed in the base with sliding cover, hinged fluted handle. D. White enamel with black Arabic numerals, outer minute track. Luminous blued steel skeleton hands. M. 19???, frosted gilt watch movement, five-wheel train, straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring, micrometer regulator geared from the base, repeating on gongs activated by depressing a button on the top of the case. Dim. 76 x 58 x 45 mm.
