Chevron, Temps du Cupidon Chevron, Swiss, No. 1134. Made circa 1925. Fine gilt-brass, 8-day going, keyless desk clock with painted dial.
C. Square with beaded decoration, brass hinged strut, drum housing for the movement, winding and hand-setting crowns. D. Pink outer border, applied matte gilt chapter ring with radial Roman numerals, outer minute track, the center painted with a scene of cupids amongst the clouds and signed "Rivier". Pierced gilt Louis XV hands. M. 43 mm., 19???, rhodium-plated, fausses cotes decoration, 15 jewels, straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring, index regulator. Case signed and numbered. Dim. 90 x 90 mm.
