Notes

Alain Silberstein This born and bred Parisian trained as an interior architect and designer created a watchmaking firm in Besançon in the late 1980?s. At a time when mechanical watchmaking was thought to be doomed, he became part of the group of exceptional Swiss makers who were behind the Renaissance of the mechanical watch. In his workshop on the banks of the Doubs River, Alain Silberstein creates exceptional timekeepers which are also resolutely contemporary. In just a few years, Alain Silberstein has proven that research, innovation and quality can allow a French brand name to take its place alongside the famous Swiss watchmakers.
