Nicole Nielsen Watch with 8 Complications Attributed to Nicole Nielsen, case No. 1165. The case with London hallmarks for 1886-1887. Very fine and rare, large and heavy, 18K yellow gold, minute-repeating, hunting-cased, keyless pocket watch with chronograph, 60-minute register, perpetual calendar, phases of the moon and lunar calendar.

C. Four-body, "bassine", massive, polished, pushbutton for the chronograph at 12. Hinged gold cuvette. D. White enamel, radial Roman numerals, outer minute track, outermost chronograph divisions with fifths of a second divisions and Arabic five second/minute numerals, four subsidiary dials for days of the week, date, months concentric with leap year indication and progressive 60-minute register, seconds and aperture for the phases of the moon, lunar calendar on the edge. Blued steel pear hands. M. 43 mm, 19''', matte gilt, three-quarter plate, jeweled to the center with screwed gold chatons, lateral lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance with temperature and meantime adjustment screws, blued steel Breguet balance spring with overcoil, index regulator, repeating on gongs activated by a slide on the band. Case numbered. Diam. 56 mm.
