Two-body, Louis XVI, engraved bezel, the back decorated with a painted on enamel scene of cupid with a basket of flowers kneeling before the flower-bedecked altar of love, royal blue border and outer white enael dot border. D. White enamel with radial Roman numerals, outer minute track and large Arabic five minute numerals. Gold Louis XVI hands. M. 26 mm., matte gilt full plate, flared pillars, fusee and chain, verge escapement with micrometric potence adjustment, three-arm balance, flat balance spring, pierced and engraved continental balance cock, silver regulation dial. Movement signed. Diam. 32 mm.
