Certina split Certina, ?EA, Split-Seconds Chronograph?, case No. 738316. Made in the 1950's. Very fine and rare, stainless steel wristwatch, with square button chronograph, co-axial split, registers, tachometer with a stainless steel Certina buckle. Accompanied by the original fitted box.
C. Three-body, polished and brushed, overhanging lugs, inverted bezel, snap-on case back. D. Three-tone silver with applied luminous Arabic numerals, subsidiary dials for the seconds, 30-minute and 12-hour registers, outer 1/5th seconds and minute divisions, outermost tachometer scale. Luminous blued steel baton hands. M. Cal. 185, rhodium-plated, fausses cotes decoration, 20 jewels, straight line lever escapement, monometallic balance, selfcompensating Breguet balance spring, index regulator. Dial signed, case and movement numbered. Diam. 37 mm. Thickness 14 mm.
