Alain Silberstein perpetual calendar Alain Silberstein, Architecte Horloger, France, "Marine Perpetual Automatic", No. 047/100. Made in a limited edition of 100 examples in the 1990s. Very fine, rare, and unusual, center seconds, self-winding, water resistant, stainless steel chronometer wristwatch with a rubber strap and a stainless steel Alain Silberstein deployant clasp.
C. Three-body, polished, brushed revolving bezel graduated with applied white and red markers, transparent screwed-down case back, straight lugs, triangular winding-crown with white enamel inlay, anti-reflective sapphire crystals. D. White with painted luminous round indexes, inner graduation for the date, at 6 a half-moon, a circle withdot and a starfish symbol. Fancy red triangular hour and blue baton minute hand, yellow serpentine hand for the seconds and red half-moon for the date. In the back, white off-center subsidiary dial with indication of the months for four years and the leap years in black and red Arabic numerals. M. Exclusive movement based on Cal. Eta 2892-2 made by Svend Andersen, rhodiumplated, oeil-de-perdrix decoration, 21 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, monometallic balance, shock absorber, self-compensating flat balance spring, micrometer regulator, gilt brass rotor with A. Silberstein design, hack mechanism. Case and dial signed. Diam. 40 mm. Thickness 17 mm.
