Three-body, ?Empire?, hinged seed pearl-set bezel, the band decorated with blue champlevé enamel and "Gage Precieux" in gold, glazed hinged back with seed pearl-set border, finely painted Geneva enamel and engraved gold scene of two children, a boy and girl, she with a basket, he with a dog, flower and urn border. D. White enamel, Breguet numerals, outer minute divisions, winding aperture at 2 o'clock. Pierced gold hands. M. 40 mm., frosted gilt full plate with flared turned pillars, fusee and chain, verge escapement with micrometric potence adjustment, three-arm brass balance, flat balance spring, pierced and chased continental balance cock, polished steel endplate, silver regulator dial. Dial and movement signed. Diam. 47 mm.
