C. Two-body, Louis XVI, hinged and sprung bezel set with split pearls, gold rope-twist band intertwind with pearls, the back with a panel of translucent royal blue enamel over spotted engine-turning, central pearl-set star and outer pearl-set border. D. White enamel with radial Roman numerals, outer minute track and Arabic five-minute numerals. Pierced gold Louis hands. M. 27 mm., frosted gilt full plate, fusee and chain, verge escapement, three-arm brass balance, flat balance spring, continental balance cock with polished steel endplate, silver regulation dial. Dial signed. Diam. 39 mm.
