BHJ & Co. Dead Center-Seconds BHJ & Co., Swiss, No. 18792. Made circa 1870. Fine, 18K rose gold keyless pocket watch with dead centerseconds and independent stop function.
C. Four-body, bassine, polished, stop slide for the centerseconds at 8. Hinged gold cuvette. D. White enamel with radial Roman numerals, outer minute track and Arabic five-minute numerals, subsidiary seconds. Gold Louis XV hands. M. 18???, rhodium plated, fausses cotes decoration, 18 jewels, wolf?s tooth winding, counterpoised straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring, index regulator, the centerseconds wheel with extra bridge. Case punched BHJ & Co. Diam. 50 mm.
