C. two-body, "bassine", polished, bezel with reeded border, back with inlaid rose gold engraved with a locomotive with a coal wagon behind, gold flowers below. D. white enamel, double sunk, bold Arabic numerals, outer minute ring with five-minute red Arabic markers, sunk subsidiary seconds. Blued steel "Parallel Spade" hands. M. 18 size, gilt nickel, full plate, damascened, 17 jewels in settings, adjusted, straight line lever escapement, cut-bimetallic compensation balance with gold screws, bluesteel Breguet balance spring, swan neck micrometric regulator, safety pinion.Signed on the dial by the retailer. Movement signed "Chesapeake & Ohio". Case signed "Illinois Watch Case Co. Elgin U.S.A. Hercules". Diam. 61.5 mm.
