C. three-body by Keystone, screwed bezel and back, reeded edges, back engraved with British Navy arrow and numbers. D. white enamel, Arabic numerals with inner concentric 24 hour chapter, outer minute ring with five-minute Arabic markers. Blued steel "Railway Spade" hands. M. 16 size, nickel, 3/4 split plate, damascened, 22 jewels, adjusted to temperature and 6 positions, straight line lever escapement, monometallic balance with gold screws and self compensating "Elinvar Extra" Breguet balance sring, swan neck micrometric regulator, stop feature activated by pulling out the winding crown.Signed on the dial and movement. Back engraved with British Navy arrow and numbers "CH S3" and "3C1 222", movement engraved also "U.S. Govt.".Diam. 52.1 mm.
