The Ball Watch Co., Cleveland., Brotherhood of Railroad Trainmen, "Official Standard", No. 548859 by Hamilton, model 999, finished on November 8, 1907, sold to Ball on September 4, 1908.Very fine, gold-filled, keyless Railroad Grade watch.
C. three-body, "bassine", by Keystone, engine-turned screwed bezel and back, polished band. D. white enamel, bold Arabic numerals, outer minute ring, sunk subsidiary seconds. Blued steel "Spade" hands. M. 18 size, nickel, full plate, damascened, 21 jewels, the top ones in gold settings, adjusted to 5 positions, straight line lever escapement with sapphire pallets, cut-bimetallic compensation balance with gold screws, blued steel Breguet balance spring, swan neck micrometric regulator, safety pinon.Signed on the dial and movement, dial also signed "Trademark Standard" in tri-colored lettering, movement engraved "BRT" Trademark Patented June 30'96", "Pat. Aug.18'96",Diam. 54.8 mm.
