The Ball Watch Co., Cleveland, Ohio, "Order of Railroad Conductor Standard", No. 503954 by Hamilton, Grade 999, finished on January 15, 1908, sold to Ball on January 20, 1908.Very fine, gold-filled, keyless Railroad Grade watch.
C. three-body, "bassine", by Keystone, polished with screwed bezel and back. D. white enamel, bold Arabic numerals, outer minute ring, sunk subsidiary seconds. Blued steel "Spade" hands. M. 18 size, nickel, full plate, damascened, 19 jewels, the top ones in gold settings, adjusted to 5 positions, straight line lever escapement with sapphire pallets, cut-bimetallic compensation balance with gold screws, blued steel Breguet balance spring, swan neck micrometric regulator, safety pinion.Signed on the dial, case and movement. Dial also signed "Trademark ORC Standard" in tri-color lettering. Movement engraved "Trademark Patented June 30'96", "Pat. Aug.18'96".Diam. 55 mm. Case stamped "Ball Model".
