D. white enamel, Roman numerals, outer minute ring with five-minute Arabic markers, sunk subsidiary seconds. Blued steel "Spade" hands. M. 18 size, rhodium plated, 3/4 plate, damascened, 15 jewels most in gold settings, adjusted, straight line lever escapement, cut-bimetallic compensation balance with gold screws and blued steel Breguet balance spring, swan neck micrometric regulatorRepeating on gongs through activating a slide in band.Signed on the dial and cuvette. Movement engraved "Patd. Aug. 23.87, April 30.89, +894". Diam. 55.3 mm.

This watch is an excellent example of a European movement based on Waltham's designs. The first patent relates to an improved repeating mechanism invented by J. G. Tongue, and the second to another improvement found in Waltham repeaters utilizing Charles Morlet's idea.
