D. hand-painted white enamel, Roman numerals, outer minute ring, sunk subsidiary seconds. Blued steel "American Spade" hands. M. 18 size, nickel, 3/4 plate, damascened in repeated pattern, 15 jewels, the top ones in gold settings, straight line lever escapement with gold screws, cut-bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring, micrometric regulator, gold traipallet fork bridge.Signed on the dial and movement. Movement engraved, "Woerd's Patent. May. August 1867, Fogg's Safety Pinion Patented, Feb,14,1865."Signed on the dial and movement. Gold train and gold pallet fork bridge.Diam. 52.9 mm.
