D. guilloché champlevé enamel with applied white gold dart indexes, the logo RR at 12, outer graduation for the alarm in painted Arabic numerals, aperture for the date, at the center, an engraved representation of the Capitol in Washington. Ditisheim, the "Cricket" wristwatch was launched at the end of 1947, and was immediately admired worldwide due to its intense sounding and lasting alarm fitted within a standard-sized wristwatch. Presidents Eisenhower, Johnson, and Nixon were fond admirers of this wristwatch, and it became known as the Presidents' Watch.
