"The Flower"Unsigned, Swiss, circa 1890.Very fine, 18K gold, ruby- and pearl-set hunting-cased, keyless lapel watch with matching chatelaine.
C. four-body, in the shape of a flower, the spring-loaded yellow gold center covers the dial, petals set with half-pearls and rubies, back engraved with a flower with a stem curving upwards, gold hinged cuvette, two piece chatelaine, each piece depicting a flower decorated en suite with half-pearls and rubies. D. white enamel, Roman numerals, outer minute ring. Gold "spade" hands. M. 23 mm, gilt brass, cylinder escapement, three-arm plain brass balance with flat balance-spring.Diam. 32 mm, length with chatelaine 100 mm.
