C. four-body, "bassine", by "C.J. & Bro", polished covers, reeded bezels, knurled band, gold hinged cuvette. D. white enamel, hand painted, Roman numerals, outer minute divisions, subsidiary sunk seconds. Blued steel, "Spade" hands with polished faces. M. N size, gilt brass 3/4 split plate, 15 jewels, straight line calibrated lever escapement, cut-bimetallic compensation balance with gold screws, blued steel flat balance spring, Mershon's micrometric regulator patented on April 26, 1859. Reed'sarrel with maintaining power patented on Nov 24, 1857.Signed on the dial and movement.Diam. 54 mm.
