D. white enamel, Roman numerals, outer minute ring, sunk subsidiary seconds. Blued steel "American Spade" hands. M. N size, gilt, 15 jewels, straight line lever escapement, monometallic three-arm steel balance, blued steel flat balance spring, engraved balance cock.Signed on the dial and movement. Movement engraved "Reed's Patent. Nov. 24.1857."Diam. 53.6 mm.
