Le Phare Quarter-Repeating Calendar Chronograph Le Phare (C. Barbezat-Baillot, Locle), "Répétition Chronographe Triple Quantieme Phases de Lune", case No. 73837. Made for the Russian market, circa 1910. Fine, hunting-cased, keyless, quarter-repeating, 14K (56 Zolotniks) pink gold pocket watch with triple-date calendar, chronograph and moon phases. To be sold without reserve
C. Four-body, bassine et filets, engine-turned with polished borders. Hinged gold cuvette engraved with prize medals and technical details, glazed gold-rimmed cover to view the movement. D. White enamel with radial Roman numerals, outer minute track and outermost fifths of a second divisions, subsidiary seconds dial and date dial, apertures for the days of the week, months (in Cyrillic) and moon phases. Gilt Louis XV hands. M. Cal. 20???, frosted gilt, 19 jewels, straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring, centrifugal governor, index regulator, repeating on gongs activated by a push-button on the band. Case numbered, cuvette signed "Le Phare". Diam. 57 mm.
