audemars freres Watch with 8 Complications Audemars Frères, Swiss, No. 11858. Made circa 1875. Very fine and rare, large, 18K rose gold, minute-repeating, hunting-cased, keyless, pocket watch with split-seconds chronograph, perpetual calendar, phases of the moon and lunar calendar.

C. Four-body, "bassine et filets", polished, push button for the chronograph at 1, the split-seconds at 11, locking bolt for the chronograph between the buttons. Hinged gold cuvette. D. White enamel, radial Roman numerals, outer minute track, outermost chronograph divisions with fifths of a second divisions and Arabic five second/minute numerals, four subsidiary dials for days of the week, date, months concentric with leap year indication, seconds and aperture for the phases of the moon, lunar calendar on the edge. Blued steel pear hands. M. 44 mm, 19''', rhodium-plated, fausses cotes decoration, 31 jewels, calibrated straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance with temperature and meantime adjustment screws, blued steel Breguet balance spring with overcoil, index regulator, repeating on gongs with two polished steel hammers activated by a slide on the band. Case punched A.F. & Ce. Diam. 56 mm.
