Swiss landscape Swiss. Made circa 1820. Gold, painted on enamel and pearl-set lady?s pendant watch with a mother of pearl and gold chain with fob seal and key.
C. Two-body, Empire, reeded band, split-pearl-set bezels, the back decorated with an oval painted on enamel scene of a landscape within a gold paillon and red guilloche border. D. Gold with radial Roman numerals outer minute divisions, engine-turned center, winding aperture at 2. Blued steel Breguet hands. M. 28.5 mm., matte gilt, fusee and chain, verge escapement with micrometric potence adjustment, three arm brass balance, flat balance spring, continental cock. Diam. 34 mm.
