Girard-Perregaux Platinum split Girard-Perregaux, "Chronographe à Rattrapante", No. 11, Ref. 49550. Sold in June 2001. Very fine and rare, self-winding, water-resistant, platinum wristwatch with round button split-seconds chronograph, registers and an 18K white gold Girard-Perregaux buckle. Accompanied by a Girard-Perregaux fitted box, guarantee and instruction manual.
C. Three-body, solid, polished and brushed, case back with 6 screws, concave bezel, curved lugs, push-button at 8 to start and reunite the split-seconds hand. domed sapphire crystal. D. Guilloche silver with applied white gold radial Breguet numerals, subsidiary dials for the seconds, the 12-hours and 30-minutes registers. Blued steel Breguet hands. M. Cal. 8290, rhodium-plated, 19 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, monometallic balance, shock absorber, self-compensating flat balance spring. Dial, case and movement signed. Diam. 39 mm.
