Notes

Alexis Garin Alexis Garin is an independent watchmaker working in the Jura region of Switzerland, cradle of the art of watchmaking. After graduating from the renowned Watchmaking School of Le Lode, Switzerland, Alexis Garin worked for a short time at Piaget, then as an independent watchmaker restoring antique watches and clocks, and at Vacheron Constantin, concentrating specifically on skeleton watches. Alexis Garin's work reflects his passion for 18th century timepieces. His creations, with harmonious, high quality movements, bridge the gap between watchmaking traditions of the past and today's new technologies. He specializes in elegant and sophisticated skeleton wristwatches which he executes by hand, with all the mastery that this delicate technique requires.
