H. R. Ekegren Five Minute Repeater H. R. Ekegrén, Copenhagen, No. 18827. Made in 1887. Fine and unusual, five-minute repeating, keyless, 18K rose gold hunting-cased pocket watch.
C. Four-body, ?bassine?, polished, monogramme to the cover, dated presentation inscription to the inside, hinged gold cuvette with faded photograph, repeat slide to the band. D. White enamel with dauphine numerals, outer minute divisions, subsidiary seconds. Gold spade hands. M. Cal. 17''', rhodium-plated, fausses cotes decoration, 25 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring, patented swan-neck micrometer regulator, repeating on two coiled steel gongs. Dial and cuvette signed, case signed. Diam. 50 mm.
