Laco ? World War II German Air Force (Luftwaffe) Laco - Durowe, Recognizance Watch (Beobachtungsuhr), instrument No. 127-560 B-1, movement (Werk) No. 5046, request (Anforderungs) No. FI.23883. Made by Lacher & Co., Pforzheim, Montage by Wempe, in the early 1940s. Fine and rare, large, matte nickel-plated bronze military aviator's recognizance wristwatch with indirect center seconds and Guillaume balance.
C. Three-body, matte gray, inclined bezel, concave lugs, large winding crown. D. Black with luminous 60-minute/seconds indexes and 5-minute seconds Arabic markers, concentric luminous 12-hour Arabic dial. Luminous blued steel lozenge hands. M. Cal. 21''', gilt brass, 22 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, Guillaume balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring, index regulator, hack mechanism. Case and movement signed. Diam. 55 mm. Thickness 21 mm.
