Rectangular, gilt brass with foliate decoration, the top set with pearls and blue beads, printed polychrome enamel oval lid depicting a view of rural life, the inside painted with a bouquet of roses on a blue ground, winding key on the base, turned feet. M. Rectangular, 90 x 47 mm, brass, hexagonal pillars, large spring barrel, rectangular plastic bellows, bird with striped plumage, flapping wings, opening beak and fluttering tail, two large cams controlling the piston and the bird's movements, long duration of song, grille pierced. Dim. 121 x 84 x 53 mm.
