Two-body, Louis XVI, the back finely painted on enamel depicting a young man and lady in a landscape, blue and gold paillon frame with gold paillon borders, the bezels with chased laurel leaf pattern. D. White enamel, radial Roman numerals, outer minute divisions and Arabic five-minute numerals. Gold beetle and poker hands. M. 35 mm., hinged, gilt brass full plate with hexagonal baluster pillars, fusee and chain, verge escapement with micrometric potence adjustment, plain brass three-arm balance, continental cock with polished endplate, silvered regulation dial. Signed on dial and movement. Diam. 45 mm.
