Extremely fine and important, water-resistant, large, 18K yellow gold wristwatch with one-minute tourbillon regulator under three 18K pink gold bridges and roundbutton chronograph, registers and an 18K yellow gold Girard-Perregaux buckle. Accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity and a fitted box.

Off-white with applied large yellow gold Breguet numerals, outer 1/5th second and minute division, subsidiary dials for the second, 30-minute and 12-hour registers. Luminous yellow gold feuille hands. M. Cal. GP9981, 12 3/4''', guilloché and oeil-de-perdrix decoration, 3 polished pink gold bridges, 37 jewels, lateral lever escapement with one-minute tourbillon regulator, tourbillon carriage of the type designed by Ernest Guinand, monometallic balance, self-compensating special alloy Breguet balance spring, index regulator. Dial and case signed. Diam. 40 mm. Thickness 15.5 mm.

On March 25, 1884, a patent (No. 14919) was filed in the USA patent office stating: ?Be it known that I, Girard Perregaux of Chaux-de- Fonds, Republic of Switzerland, have invented and produced a new and original Design for a Watch- Movement, of which the following is a full, clear and exact description: ?In a watch movement the design for a bridge, consisting a bridge having a central annular portion, spread-out ends and bar-like portions between the said annular portions and ends, as shown??.
