Tiedemann Pair-Cased Calendar Watch J. C. Tiedmann, Hamburg, No. 9017. Made circa 1810. Silver and tortoiseshell, pair-cased pocket watch with calendar.
C. Outer: two-body, overlaid with tortoiseshell with pique decoration. Inner: Two-body Empire, polished. D. White enamel with Breguet numerals, outer minute track, inner calendar ring with corresponding hand. Gold arrow and Breguet hands. M. 44 mm., gilt-brass, full plate, conical pillars, fuse and chain, verge escapement with micrometric potence adjustment, three-arm brass balance, flat balance spring, continental balance cock with polished steel endplate, silver regulator scale. Movement signed. Diam. 63 mm.
