Four-body, ?demi-bassine?, polished, semi-concealed hinge, the back cover with an applied champlevé enameled plaque with ?Methodist? on a blue banner, a red cross below flanked by initials SS and a crown on a white ground. Hinged gold cuvette. D. White enamel with black fancy Arabic numerals, outer minute track, subsidiary seconds dial. Gold Louis XV hands. M. Cal. 18???, ?Adjusted?, rhodium-plated, fausses cotes decoration, 29 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring, swan-neck micrometer regulator, repeating on gongs activated by a slide on the band. Dial and movement signed. Diam. 46.5 mm.
