Very fine and rare, Art-Deco in the Chinese style, silver-gilt, rock crystal, lapis lazuli, rose quartz and enamel 8-day going table clock with hand-painted mother of pearl dial. Accompanied by the original fitted box. To be sold without reserve

Of temple form, carved lapis lazuli top and base, rock crystal pillars with silver-gilt and enamel capitals, surmounted by a carved rose-quartz figure of Buddha, square silver-gilt clock case with incurved corners, blue champlevé enamel chapter ring with oriental-style black Arabic numerals. D. Mother of pearl, hand-painted with a charming river landscape view, signed in Chinese characters. M. 19???, rhodium-plated, fausses cotes decoration, 15 jewels, straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance with 3 adjustments, blued steel Breguet balance spring, index regulator. Case and movement signed. Dim. 112 x 125 x 37 mm.
