Lindbergh and Longines in 1927, US Pat. 1923305. Produced in a limited edition of 10 examples in 1987, to commemorate the 60th anniversary of Lindbergh's first flight over the Atlantic Ocean in 1927. Fine and rare, hour-angle, centerseconds, 18K yellow gold aviator's wristwatch. Accompanied by its original certificate. To be sold without reserve

Four-body, solid, polished and brushed, hinged case back with dedication inside, revolving ridged bezel with enameled 15 degree graduations, graduated case band, the ball-shaped crown also activates the revolving central dial. D. White enamel with black enameled Roman numeral for the 12-hour indication, concentric, the 180 degrees in Arabic numerals, at the center, revolving satin silver dial with painted black Arabic numerals for the 60 minutes and red Arabic numerals for the 15 degrees. Black Breguet hands. M. Cal. L 628.1, rhodium-plated, oeil-deperdrix decoration, 21 jewels, straight line lever escapement, monometallic balance, shock-absorber, selfcompensating Breguet balance-spring, index regulator, hack mechanism. Dial, case and movement signed. Diam. 37 mm. Thickness 11 mm.
