UNIVERSAL TRI-COMPAX Universal Genève, "Tri-Compax," Ref. 22297 1. Made in the 1950s. Very fine, astronomic, stainless steel, water-resistant, wristwatch with round button chronograph, registers, triple date and moon phases.
C. Two-body, polished, inclined bezel, screwed-down case back with inner dust cap, curved lugs. D. Matte silver with applied faceted baton indexes, outer minutes and fifths of a second track, Arabic five minute/ second numerals, guilloché subsidiary dials for the seconds, the 12-hour and 30-minute registers, graduation for the date around the moon phase aperture, apertures for the days of the week and the month. Dauphine hands. M. Cal. 281, rhodium-plated, 17 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, monometallic balance, self-compensating Breguet balance spring, index regulator. Dial, case and movement signed. Diam. 35 mm. Thickness 14 mm.
