Jules Racine Split-Seconds Jules Racine, Swiss, No. 43143. Made circa 1920. Very fine, keyless, 14K yellow gold pocket watch with split-seconds chronograph and register.
C. Four body, demi-bassine, solid, polished, curved bezel, button at 11 for the split-seconds, button in the crown for the start/stop and return-to-zero function of the chronograph. Hinged gold cuvette. D. White enamel with Arabic numerals, outer minute track and fifths of a second divisions, red Arabic five-minute numerals, subsidiary seconds. Black steel poire hands. M. Cal. 18''', rhodium-plated, fausses cotes decoration, 27 jewels, counterpoised straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring with overcoil, index regulator. Dial signed. Diam. 49 mm.
