C. H. Meylan C.H. Meylan, Brassus, Swiss, No. 6038, retailed by Feagans & Co. Made circa 1925. Very fine 18K yellow gold and platinum, slim, keyless minuterepeating dress watch.
C. Three-body, "bassine", polished, engraved monogram on the back, platinum bezels, the rest in yellow gold. D. Matted silver, champlevé cubist Arabic numerals, outer minute ring, subsidiary seconds. Blued steel fuseaux hands. M. 39 mm., 17''', nickel, 29 jewels, straight-line counterpoised lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued-steel Breguet balance spring, 8 adjustments, repeating on gongs activated by a slide on the band. Movement signed, case stamped with Meylan's mark, dial signed by the retailer. Diam. 44.6 mm.
