Two-body, ?Empire?, hinged bezel with raised vari-colored gold leaf decoration, back with an engraved scene of a classical youth with birds in a landscape, highlighted with blue and white enamel, border matching the bezel. D. White enamel, Arabic numerals, outer star minute divisions and Arabic 15-minute numerals, winding aperture at 2 o'clock. Pierced and arrow gold hands. M. 42 mm., frosted gilt full plate with flared turned pillars, fusee and chain, verge escapement with micrometric potence adjustment, three-arm brass balance, flat balance spring, pierced and chased continental balance cock, polished steel endplate. Dial and movement signed. Diam. 50 mm.
