Gold & Enamel Apollo Cameo Bangle Watch Attributed to Bautte, Geneva. Made circa 1835. Very fine and rare, large, 18K gold, champleve enamel and cameo-set bangle fitted with a concealed watch.

Spring-loaded cover set with a carved shell cameo depicting the profile of Apollo amongst the clouds, scalloped border decorated with gold foliage and white champlevé enamel flowers on a black ground, opening to reveal the watch, the band and tapered bracelet decorated to match. D. Gold, engine-turned, champlevé radial Roman numerals, outer minute divisions. Gold spade hands. M. 36 mm, matte gilt brass, full plate, turned pillars, verge escapement with micrometric potence adjustment, three-arm brass balance, flat balance spring, continental pierced and engraved balance cock, silvered regulation dial. Dim. 61 x 45 mm. Thickness 21 mm. Approx. overall length 175 mm.
