TIMING AND REPEATING WATCH CO. CHRONOGRAPH Timing and Repeating Watch Co., Geneva. Movement No. 43203, case No. 41220. Made circa 1900. Fine 18K yellow gold open-faced keyless pocket watch with chronograph.
C. Four-body, decorated to the bezel and band, reverse with foliate design incorporating a horse's head and stylized cartouche engraved "26-4-28, M.P.J.", the hinged gold cuvette with movement attributes. D. White enamel with Roman numerals, outer minute track and Arabic five-minute numerals in red, outermost fifths of-a-second divisions, subsidiary seconds dial. Gold Louis XV hands. M. Patented Sep. 28, 1880, English Pat. No.3224, 18???, frosted gilt, 17 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel flat balance spring, swan-neck regulator. Dial and cuvette signed.
