Imhof World Time Desk Clock Imhof, Swiss, No. 1611993. Made circa 1955. Fine and rare, 8-day going, world-time desk clock.

C. Circular, brushed and polished gilt brass, circular molded base. D. Inclined brushed silvered annular chapter ring with applied gilt brass baton indexes and black Roman quarter-hour numerals, rotating silvered disc for the 24-hours, inner rotating gilt and blue world planisphere divided into sectors and with the names of 24 world cities and countries. Black baton hands. M. Rhodium-plated, 15 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, monometallic balance, self-compensating flat balance spring, rack regulator. Dial and movement signed. Diam. 11 cm. Height 12 cm.
