Beguelin ? Double Dialled World Time Watch ? 24-Hour Dial J. L. & A. Beguelin, Locle. Made circa 1900. Fine and rare, unusual, silver, keyless, double-dialled 24-hour World Time watch.
C. Three-body, massive, "bassine", polished, glazed on both sides. D. First: white enamel with radial Roman numerals, I-XII in each half, outer dot minute divisions, outermost gold painted 24-hour numerals, revolving center with polychrome time zones and the names of 25 world cities, London in gold. Second: white enamel with the names of 43 world cities, central revolving dial calibrated from 0-60. Fancy pierced gilt hands. M. 53 mm., frosted gilt, 19 jewels, straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance with Breguet balance spring, rack and pinion regulator. Dial signed. Diam. 62.5 mm.
