Faceplate Engine Swiss or French. Made circa 1900. Fine, brass and steel faceplate engine.
Brass centering plate with three sprung steel dog clamps, brass and steel bed, driven by a brass crank handle and via two wooden pulleys, two-directional slide rest controlled by a crank handle and nut, wooden base. Dim. 50 x 30 x 20 cm. In good condition, cleaned.
