Notes

This clock is a particularly impressive and well proportioned cercles tournants clock. The gilt-bronze mounts are very finely chased and finished. A clock with identical case is illustrated in: Tardy, La Pendule Française, 2e Partie, Du style Louis XVI, p. 90.
Dufaud Worked in the Rue de Saintonge, Paris, circa 1870.
