Imhof For Bucherer - Desk Compendium Imhof, Swiss, retailed by Bucherer. Made circa 1960. Fine, 8-day going, revolving gilt-brass desk compendium with hygrometer, barometer and thermometer. To be sold without reserve

Cube-form, brushed and polished, cylindrical pillars at each corner, five finials on the top, the sides with dials for the clock, barometer, thermometer and hygrometer, revolving on a domed base etched with a map of the Northern Hemisphere. D. Matte silver with applied gilt pyramidal indexes and Arabic quarter-hour numerals. Gilt dauphine hands. m. Cal. 20???, nickel, 7 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, monometallic balance, self-compensating flat balance spring, micrometer regulator. Dial signed Bucherer, dial and movement signed ImHof. Dim. 11.8 x 7.5 x 7.5 cm.
